What to Expect From Our Online Meetups

Throughout the Covid crisis we've been running twice weekly online meetups. It's been a pleasure to meet so many new faces and lovely to be able to welcome people from beyond London into our fledgling community.

If you haven't been able to join us yet, here are the links to register.

Monday at 18:30 on Zoom
Thursday at 18:30 on Zoom

It's completely free of charge. Meetups last for 90 minutes but feel free to leave early if you like.

We know it can be daunting if it's your first time. Perhaps you're feeling a bit nervous and unsure about what to expect. Let me reassure you we are a very easy going bunch. There is absolutely no shaming or blaming. Our ethos is non-judgemental and we don't use labels like 'alcoholic'.

The meetups are somewhere between a support group and a social. It's all about celebrating our successes and sharing our challenges. We try to inspire each other and take comfort knowing we are not alone on our AF journeys.

There's no facilitator and no steps, dogma or slogans. Just a friendly discussion between a group of people on a shared adventure.

We welcome anyone wanting to change their relationship with alcohol. Whether you want to moderate or stop completely, it's up to you. And whether you've been drinking a couple of glasses of wine too many at the weekends or a bottle of vodka a day, you are welcome to join us. Since our inaugural meetup in January we've had the pleasure to meet with a really diverse bunch of attendees.

If you have any questions please don't be shy. You can contact us via email or get in touch on social media.

Hope to see you online sometime soon!
